A few key terms to know:

Social Sets contain profiles that are connected to your Later account. Each Social Set includes one profile for each of our supported platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Snapchat.

Access Groups contain and organize Social Sets, and help you control access to them. They allow you to manage which users in your Later account can access certain profiles and media items. Each Access Group has its own Media Library and Calendar, and can contain multiple Social Sets.

Our Plans
Later currently offers three paid plans: Starter, Growth, and Scale. Each plan includes a base set of features, and, depending on your plan, you can purchase add-ons like additional Social Sets, users and AI credits.
Starter
The Starter plan lets you plan, schedule, and publish your content in advance so you can stay consistent without being online 24/7. It includes essential planning tools and basic analytics— perfect for freelancers and individuals with businesses looking to support their social media marketing or content management initiatives.

Growth
The Growth plan is our most popular plan and the perfect place to start with Later, offering unlimited media uploads, Smart Scheduling, internal and external collaboration tools, as well as tools like Social Inbox. Growth plans simplify your publishing process across multiple platforms and give you rich insight into your social performance. They’re great for savvy individuals or small teams who want to spend less time scheduling while building a strong, strategic social presence.

Scale
If you’re running a large content operation managing multiple brands and need comprehensive data and flexibility, our Scale plans provide you enterprise-level analytics without the price tag. Scale plan users enjoy everything Later has to offer plus features like custom analytics, two of Later Social Listening’s suite features, competitive benchmarking, and future trend insights. You’ll have everything you need to stay organized, work smarter, and keep your content running smoothly as you grow.

Free
Later also offers a Free plan. This plan lets creators schedule a limited number of posts each month or participate in brand campaigns. It includes a few basic features, such as a customizable Link in Bio page, one Access Group, and 24/7 access to Later’s Help Center and chatbot.
Plan Add-ons
Add-ons let you customize your Later plan to suit your needs. They’re a great way to bridge the gap when you’ve outgrown one plan but aren’t quite ready for the next.

What’s the difference between free and paid plans?

- You can add more users and Social Sets to your Growth plan (or higher) for a fee.
Can I have a free trial?
Yes! We offer a 14-day trial for our paid plans.
To activate your trial:
- Select the green Start 14-Day Free Trial button in the top-right corner of Later’s desktop app, or
- Start your trial from your subscription settings.
What’s the difference between subscribing through iOS vs. desktop?
If you sign up for your paid Later plan through the iOS app, your subscription will be handled by Apple instead of Later. This means that:
- Only Starter, Growth, and Scale Advanced plans are available
- Prices will appear in your local currency and end in .99
- Plan add-ons are unavailable
- The Later team can’t access your receipts
- You must manage your subscription through the iOS app, not desktop
- Refunds must be requested from Apple, not Later (to locate your receipts, you will have to refer to your Apple ID’s purchase history)
- You cannot apply coupons and non-profit discounts
If you created your Later account through the iOS app, you can still subscribe to your paid plan on desktop. Log in to your account through app.later.com with the same credentials and upgrade your plan from your subscription settings.
