What's New
Instagram Trial Reels
Instagram Trial Reels are now available in Later. Instead of posting directly to your followers and hoping for the best, you can now test a Reel with non-followers first, getting real engagement signals before deciding whether to push it to your full audience.
It's a smarter way to experiment. Validate hooks and formats with a cold audience, double down on what's working, and protect your engagement rate from content that needs more work.
With over 2 billion people interacting with Reels every month, early performance signals matter. Trial Reels let you earn them before the stakes are high.
Add Post Tags Directly in the Post Builder
Post tags can now be added directly in the post builder so you can organize your content in the moment, without having to go back and tag posts after the fact.
Tagging while scheduling means the context is fresh, nothing gets missed, and your data stays clean and consistent over time.
Edit Social Set Names in Later Social
You can now rename your Social Sets directly from the Social Profiles settings page, so instead of "Social Set 1" and "Social Set 2," you can give each one a clear, meaningful name like "Personal Brand," "Client Work," or an individual creator's name.
It's a small change with a big impact if you're managing multiple clients or accounts.
Here's how it works: Select the edit icon next to any Social Set name, type your new label (up to 25 characters), and save.
Updated Campaign Application Workflow
We've made major updates to the creator application flow: rebuilt for mobile, faster to complete, and a lot less frustrating to get through.
Here's what's new:
- Applications are now four steps instead of seven, so you can get from interested to applied without losing momentum
- Brand-specific campaign terms are surfaced upfront and clearly, so there are no surprises before you submit
- You can now authenticate with Instagram directly - no need to connect via a Facebook Page
If you're selected for a campaign, you'll still need to connect your Facebook-linked Instagram account at that stage to support content binding and partnership ads.
Post Tagging on Starter and Growth
You no longer have to wait until publish or reporting to start organizing your content. Post Tagging is now available on Starter and Growth plans - and it works on drafts and posts pending approval too, so tagging becomes part of your planning process from the start.
Starter plans include up to 20 post and campaign tags. Growth plans include up to 50. Need more? Scale offers unlimited tagging.
Colour Coding for Calendar Notes
You can now assign colours to your Calendar Notes, making it easier to organize and quickly scan your campaigns, reminders, and content plans. Each note can be given a special colour, helping you create your own visual system and easily spot items that need your attention.
Here's how it works: When you create or edit a note, simply choose a colour from the available options. The note will then show that colour on your Calendar, adding a splash of organization!
This feature is available on all paid plans, making it a great way to personalize your planning process.
Calendar View for External Workflow
Discover the new External Workflow v2, now featuring even more helpful calendar views for your planning needs! With the new Week and Month Calendar options, you can enjoy a clearer, more visual way to review and manage your posts, much like the familiar Calendar in the web app.
Easily switch between list and calendar views whenever you like, and your selected posts stay visible, so nothing gets lost along the way. When you select a post, the Post Detail View opens up, letting you review and edit content effortlessly.
Media previews have also been upgraded—posts now display media in a larger size, making it easier to see details instead of just thumbnails.
Here's what's new:
- Enjoy the Week and Month Calendar views
- Switch between views without losing your selected posts
- Access the Post Detail View directly from the Calendar
- View larger, clearer media previews
This feature is available on Growth and Scale plans to help you work more smoothly and effectively.
