Been invited as a user on a Later account? Eager to start working? This guide will show you how to get set up, what features you can dive into, and the limitations you have as an account user.
Getting Set Up as a User
Account users are able to use all of the Later features included in the account’s subscription, but aren’t able to change or manage all account settings or subscription.
As a user in Later, many of your features are ready to go out-the-box, or may have already been set up by your account owner. But there are a few features which will require you to log in to Facebook first to use. These include:
- Location Tagging
- Conversations*
- Collect features including Mentions*, Tags*, and Search by Hashtags
- Linkin.bio
* = only available on select plans
If this Facebook connection is not established, you’ll be asked to connect when you log into Later. If you need to log into Facebook but don’t see the connection pop-up, from the side menu, click Media > Search by Hashtag.
What Can You Do as a User
Once you're connected, you’ll have access to all of the features that are included with the Later plan selected by your account owner. You can see your plan listed at the top of your Account Settings. To see what's included in your plan, check out our pricing page.
Depending on the plan you're on, you'll be able to:
- Schedule and edit posts for all social profiles in the Access Groups you have been added to
- Edit your Link in Bio posts for Instagram
- Upload and organize media in your Media Library
- Collect Media from Tags*, Mentions*, and more
- See Analytics data for your social profiles
- Respond to Instagram comments using Conversations*
- Add or remove and refresh social profiles
* = only available on select plans
You can also manage your user profile settings, including:
- Password
- Timezone
- Devices & Notifications
What Can’t You Do as a User
If you are a user on an account, you will not be able to see or change any main account settings. These include:
- Subscription settings
- Adding or changing other users
If changes are needed to these settings, please reach out to the account owner.
