Schedule and Publish Facebook Posts with Later

You can schedule posts to Facebook Business Pages only
- Facebook doesn’t support scheduling to personal profiles, including profiles in professional mode
Later doesn’t support Facebook Groups at this time
You can schedule to Facebook from Later on the web or Later's iOS and Android apps
All users can schedule Facebook posts with 1 image, 1 GIF, 1 video, or only text
- Users on current paid plans can schedule Multi-Photo (carousel) posts with up to 10 photos as well as Facebook Reels
The number of Facebook posts you can schedule monthly is dependent on your plan
Facebook posts can be up to 63,206 characters
URLs in Facebook posts are clickable
URLs in text-only Facebook posts will generate a link preview
Tagging for Facebook is not available at this time
Facebook posts are always auto published
Facebook Stories cannot be published through Later at this time

Schedule a Facebook Post

Go to your Calendar on Later on the web
Select your Facebook Page at the top
Drag and drop the media you want to schedule, or drag the Create Text Post box onto your Calendar for a text-only post
Set the date and time you want the post to go out
Add your caption up to 63,206 characters and hashtags, or add Saved Captions
Optional edits:
- Edit your media by clicking Edit Image/Video under it
- Click Change Media to rearrange or add/remove media
Click Schedule Post
- Alternatively, click the down arrow next to the Schedule Post button > Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later

Go to the Schedule tab in the Later iOS app
Tap the create-post button in the bottom right
Select your Facebook Page
Add your caption up to 63,206 characters and hashtags, or add Saved Captions
If you want to add media, tap +
Optional edits:
- Tap a photo to crop it
- Tap x to remove media
Tap Change next to where it says No Time Selected
Select a date and time for publishing, or tap Now under Select a Time to publish now
Tap Save
Tap Schedule Post
- Alternatively, tap Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later

Go to the Schedule tab in the Later Android app
Tap the create-post button in the bottom right
Select your Facebook Page
Add your caption up to 63,206 characters and hashtags, or add Saved Captions
If you want to add media, tap +
Optional edits:
- Tap a photo to crop it

Tap Change and select a date and time for publishing
Tap Schedule Post
- Alternatively, tap Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later

Your Facebook post will be automatically published at its scheduled time.

Note: When you schedule a Multi-Photo (carousel) post through Later, it will show up as a photo album post on Facebook, not a carousel.
