New to participating in Later campaigns? This article covers the most common questions about getting selected, joining, connecting your accounts, publishing, and getting paid. Each answer links to a fuller guide where there's more to know.
Getting Started
How Do I Get Selected for Campaigns?
Two ways: browse the campaign board and apply to campaigns that interest you, or get invited directly by a brand and apply from there.
How Do Brands Find Me?
Opt in to Later's Creator Marketplace (it's free). Later then creates a searchable creator profile that brands use to find talent. For what that profile shows, see Your Creator Profile.
Do I Have to Pay to Participate?
No. Participating as a creator is free. A free account lets you join the Creator Marketplace, browse and apply to campaigns, and participate in ones you're selected for. Sharing a Media Kit with brands requires a paid plan, but that's optional. See Choosing a Later Social Plan.
Connecting Your Accounts
Why Do I Need to Connect My Social Profiles?
Brands use Later to track your campaign performance. Connecting your profiles lets Later verify your content was published, collect performance metrics, and confirm eligibility for campaigns that require specific platforms. If a brand marks a profile as required, you'll need to connect it to apply.
You can apply to campaigns using Instagram alone. For steps, see Connect Instagram to Later Social for Campaigns. For how authentication works and how your data stays protected, see Third-Party Partner Data Safety & Compliance.
Do I Need a Facebook Page To Take Part?
Not for campaigns. As of March 2026, applying, content tracking, and sharing insights all work with Instagram Login alone. The one exception is if a brand wants to boost your post as a Partnership Ad, which needs a one-time Facebook step for that post. See Instagram and Facebook Page Requirements in Later.
What Can a Brand See About Me?
Brands can see the content you publish for the campaign and its performance, plus a profile-level snapshot drawn from your connected accounts (a feed of your recent posts with engagement data, basic metrics like follower count and engagement rate, and audience insights). For the full breakdown, see Third-Party Partner Data Safety & Compliance.
During a Campaign
I've Been Accepted. What's Next?
Confirm your participation so the brand knows you're ready. From there, next steps depend on the campaign and may include waiting for gifted products, creating content, submitting drafts for approval, and publishing on assigned dates. See Submit Campaign Drafts for Review and Publish & Track Campaign Content.
How Do I Find My Campaigns?
Sign in to Later, go to Creator Home, select Manage Campaigns, and choose your campaign.
How Do I Contact a Brand?
Reply directly to any campaign email the brand has sent you. You can also review campaign details anytime in your Campaign Manager.
I received an email from @brandmail.co. Is it legitimate?
Yes. Some campaign managers use email addresses ending in @brandmail.co when running campaigns for a brand on Later. These emails may be used to contact creators about campaign opportunities, application updates, content approvals, or other campaign-related communications.
If you’re participating in a campaign and receive an email from an @brandmail.co address, it will be from the campaign team managing the partnership on the brand’s behalf.
Can I Request a Change to My Due Dates or Deliverables?
You can ask by replying to any campaign email, but approval is up to the brand.
Why Doesn't My Published Post Appear in My Campaign?
Usually this is a tracking issue. Check that you published on the correct account, included all required hashtags, and that your profile is still connected. For the full checklist and how to self-report if needed, see Publish & Track Campaign Content.
A Brand Asked to Boost My Post. What Is That?
That's a Partnership Ad: the brand pays to promote a post that runs from your handle, and you approve or deny each request. See Partnership Ads: A New Way to Grow Your Reach.
Getting Paid
How Do I Get Paid?
Payment terms are set by the brand and may include cash (via Stripe), gifted products, or other incentives listed in the brief. For cash, connect your Stripe account. See Connect Stripe & Get Paid for Campaigns.
