If you’re new to participating in Later campaigns, you’re in the right place! This article answers the most common questions creators ask about applying to campaigns, joining, submitting content, publishing, and getting paid — with links to other resources for more details.
How do I get selected for campaigns?
There are two ways to be selected for a campaign:
- Browse the campaign board and apply to campaigns that interest you, or
- Get invited to a campaign directly by a brand, then apply from there.
- If you apply to a campaign, the brand will reach out via email if they’re interested in working together.
- If you’re invited, you can accept the invitation and complete the application — but being invited doesn’t guarantee you’ll be selected.
Once you’ve applied through either method, the brand will contact you via email to confirm your acceptance.
How do brands find me?
To be discoverable by brands, you’ll need to opt in to Later’s Creator Marketplace (it’s free!).
Once you opt in, Later creates a searchable creator profile that brands use to find talent for their campaigns.
Do I have to pay for Later to participate in campaigns?
No — participating in Later campaigns as a creator is completely free.
With a free Later account, you can:
- Join the Creator Marketplace
- Browse and apply to campaigns
- Participate in campaigns you’re selected for
If you choose to create a Media Kit, a paid plan is required to share it with brands, but this is optional.
Later’s paid plans also include additional social media management and analytics features. Learn more: Choosing a Later Social Plan
How do I get paid for campaigns?
Campaign payment details are determined by the brand. Compensation may include:
- Cash payments (via Stripe)
- Gifted products
- Other incentives listed in the campaign brief
For cash compensation, you’ll need to connect your Stripe account to receive payments. For instructions, see Connect Stripe & Get Paid for Campaigns.
How do I contact a brand?
If you have questions about campaign requirements, deadlines, payment, or gifting, the best way to contact the brand is to reply directly to any campaign-related email they’ve sent you.
You can also review campaign details anytime in your Later Campaign Manager.
Why do I need to connect my social profiles to Later?
Brands use Later to track your campaign performance. Connecting your profiles allows Later to:
- Verify your content was published
- Collect required performance metrics automatically
- Confirm eligibility for campaigns that require specific platforms
If a brand marks a profile as required, you must connect that profile to apply.
Note:
- If you already use Later, you’ll be able to connect any profiles already linked to your account.
- If you change your connected profiles while applying to a campaign, they’ll also update in your Later Settings.
Later cannot automatically track certain platforms or content types. In these cases, you’ll be asked to self-report your metrics: Self-Report Campaign Content Manually
Self-reporting may also be required if:
- A platform experiences a temporary outage
- Your permissions were removed or expired
- Your post could not be automatically detected
How do I find my campaigns in Later?
You can manage all of your campaigns in one place:
- Sign in to Later
- Go to Creator Home
- Select Manage Campaigns
- Choose your campaign from the list

I’ve been accepted to a campaign! What’s next?
Congratulations! After being accepted, you’ll need to confirm your participation so the brand knows you’re ready to get started.
Next steps depend on the campaign and may include:
- Waiting for gifted products to arrive
- Creating your content
- Submitting drafts for approval
- Publishing content on assigned dates
For more help, see:
Can I request a change to my due dates, deadlines, or deliverables?
Yes — but approval is entirely up to the brand.
You can request changes by replying directly to any campaign email.
Why doesn’t my published post appear in my campaign?
If Later didn’t automatically detect your published post, check the following:
- Was your connected profile missing required permissions?
- Did you publish on the correct account?
- Did you include all required tags, hashtags, or mentions?
- Has your social profile been disconnected or expired?
If your post still doesn’t appear, you may need to self-report your post manually.
