This article covers the process of self-reporting campaign content. Self-reporting enables creators to manually add their campaign posts and performance metrics to Later when it can’t be bound automatically through content binding.
When Should I Self-Report Content?
Most content posted for campaigns can be bound and tracked automatically by Later, allowing the brand to access all posts and metrics in a central dashboard; however, if your content is failing to bind automatically for any reason, you can self-report it instead. Self-reporting may also be requested by the brand due to API outages or other factors. It can also be used for faster data collection.
The following content types can’t be tracked automatically and must be self-reported:
- Facebook Posts
- X (formerly Twitter) Posts
- YouTube Shorts & Videos
- LinkedIn Posts
- Snapchat Stories
- Twitch Streams
- High-resolution Images & Videos
- Blog Posts
- Product Reviews
Self-Report Campaign Content
These are the steps to manually self-report your own campaign content:
- Select the self-report link from the brand, or navigate to the Content Deliverables section of your campaign manager
- Select the content type you want to report (for example, YouTube Video, Facebook Reel, etc.)
- Upload the content
- Each piece of content must be uploaded separately
- Enter any engagement metrics including views, likes, or comments
- Select Submit
Once self-reported, your content will show up in the Content Deliverables section as Received.
