To receive monetary payments for your Later campaigns, you must connect and verify a Stripe account.
This guide walks you through the full setup process, how to troubleshoot issues, and what to expect once you’re connected.
Stripe is Later’s secure payment partner—all payouts from campaigns flow through Stripe, not through Later directly. Your Stripe account can belong to you as an individual creator, your business, or your talent agency (whoever should receive the funds).
Do You Need to Connect Stripe?
Before you begin, check your status:
- Open your campaign manager
- Use the link in your campaign email,
- or In Later: Creator Home → Manage Campaigns
- Scroll to Incentive Details.
You’ll see one of the following:

“You’re ready to receive payments” → You’re already connected! This means the email on your Later profile is already linked to a verified Stripe account.
- “Not completed” → You still need to connect or finish onboarding.
Connecting Stripe
If You Already Have a Stripe Account
- Open the link to your campaign manager
- Under Incentive Details, click Complete
- You’ll be redirected to Stripe. If nothing happens, enable pop-ups or try an Incognito/private window
- Select your existing Stripe account or enter the email tied to your Stripe account
- Review and verify any requested details, then click Agree & Submit
Return to the campaign manager—your status should now display "You’re ready to receive payments". If it still says "Not completed" click Retry or refresh the page.
If You Don’t Have a Stripe Account Yet
- Open your campaign manager and click Complete in the Stripe section
- A Stripe onboarding window will open
- Follow the prompts to create your account:
- Enter your email & phone number
- Verify your number (if prompted)
- Choose your type of business:
- Individual → most creators
- Company → talent agencies or incorporated businesses
- Nonprofit → if applicable
- Provide any requested business or profile details (website or social profile link, etc.)
- Connect the bank account where you want payouts to be deposited
- Click Agree & Submit
- Open the email from Stripe and click Confirm your email
- Return to Later and click Retry if the status hasn’t updated yet
Modify Payment Info or Update Your Stripe Details
Once connected, you can manage your payout info through Stripe Express:
- Open your campaign manager
- Under Incentive Details, click Dashboard
- In Stripe Express:
- Use the profile icon to update email, phone, or personal info
- Scroll to Payout Details, select Later Influence™, then use the pencil icon to replace or add a bank account
Restart Your Stripe Account (If Needed)
If you’d like to restart onboarding — for example, if you entered the wrong details or ran into onboarding errors — and you have not received any Stripe payments yet, you can restart your Stripe onboarding:
- Open the relevant campaign
- Scroll to Incentive Details
- Click Restart under your Stripe account

Getting Paid: What to Expect
Once your Stripe account is verified, no further action is required.
When a brand sends payment:
- You’ll see your payout status in your Stripe Express dashboard
- Bank transfers typically take ~2 business days
Taxes for Stripe Payments
Later does not collect tax forms.
If you earn $600+ in Stripe payouts within a calendar year, Stripe will send you a 1099 form, typically at the end of January.
If it’s past January and you haven’t received it, contact Stripe Support.
