When finding creators in campaigns, brands will be able to find a creator’s profile based on select data from their social profiles. Basic contact and demographic information are collected to complete your creator profile whenever you opt-in to work with a brand.
Connecting your social accounts is also required for most campaigns, which enables the brand you're working with to view your profile and track your posts for the campaign automatically through a process known as content binding.
Later works with each social platform directly to access data through secure connections and certify appropriate use, will never post or make changes to your accounts without your permission.

What data is used when finding creators?
When brands search for creators, they use filters to narrow their search. These filters include:
- Industry
- Location
- Demographics, including age and gender
- Content topics
- Post performance, if you've participated in one of their campaigns before
- Follower count range
- Follower and audience demographics, including their most common age, gender, and country
What information is shown to brands?
Brands can search to find creators that could be a good match for them. To help them see if it’ll be a good match, the following information is shown in search results:
- Instagram name
- Instagram profile photo
- Average Instagram engagement rate (2% range)
- Industry in Later
- Instagram follower count range
- Most popular location of Instagram followers (by country)
- Social profile types connected to Later (for example Instagram, TikTok)
- 3 most recent posts
- Instagram profile link
- If you have a media kit, you can choose to include a link to it in your profile. Learn more
- If opted into the Influencer Index, the demographic information you provided (to help connect you with the right campaigns)
The data listed above is the main data available to brands in search. Additional information may be required for specific campaigns, as customized by the brand. After a brand contacts you, you can also share your Performance Report with them by sending them a link.
