I Haven't Received an Invitation Email
Invitation emails come from alerts@later.com with the subject line: "Later -- Invitation to Join."
Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox. If the invitation link has expired or you can't find the email, see the next question.
What Should I Do If My Invitation Link Has Expired?
You can bypass the invitation link entirely by creating a password for your account directly.
- Go to https://app.later.com/
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter the email address your invitation was sent to
- Follow the instructions in the password reset email to set your password and sign in
Why Was I Invited with a +Talent Email Address?
This happens when the email address you normally use is already connected to another Later account. Each email address can only be tied to one Later account at a time, so Later created a variation for your new account.
If you'd prefer to use a different email address, share it with your talent manager, they'll pass it to the Later team to send a new invitation.
If you want to use your primary email address, you'll need to delete your existing Later account first.
I've Signed In. What's Next?
Once you're signed in, the next step is connecting your social profiles. These are the profiles your talent manager will see when they apply to campaigns.
To get started, we recommend connecting your Instagram and TikTok accounts. You can do this from your calendar. See Add, Remove & Transfer Social Profiles in Later for details.
Why Do I Need to Connect My Social Profiles?
When you connect your social profiles, Later can automatically pull in the content you publish as part of a campaign and track its performance. This means you don't need to manually report your posts or metrics — Later handles that in the background once your profiles are connected.
Connecting your profiles is secure. Later never sees or stores your social media passwords. When you connect an account, you sign in directly on the social platform itself (Instagram, TikTok, and so on) — not through Later. The platform then gives Later a temporary access token, which is a limited permission that lets Later do specific things like pulling in post metrics. It doesn't give Later access to your account beyond that.
