How Campaign Applications Work
Brands use campaign applications to confirm creator interest, gather creator details, and evaluate applicants for Brand campaigns.
As a talent representative, you can:
Apply to campaigns on behalf of any creator you represent
Complete all required application questions on their behalf
Accept a campaign on behalf of your creator
Manage the campaign workflow on behalf of your creator
Creators can still apply to campaigns themselves if preferred, but your agency account gives you the ability to handle the holistic workflow on their behalf.
Types of Campaign Opportunities
Direct Invitations from Brands
A brand sends an email invitation containing the application link directly to you. You can open the invitation and apply on behalf of the respective creator.
Campaign Board
The Campaign Board is where talent representatives can browse available campaigns and apply proactively on behalf of their creators.
Creator Marketplace
If a creator is opted into the Creator Marketplace, brands can discover them and send direct invitations. If a creator is not opted in, they will only receive direct invitations from brands they have an existing relationship with.
How to Apply to a Campaign on Behalf of a Creator
Step 1: Confirm You're Applying as the Correct Creator
Later only allows you to view and apply to campaigns from within the Access Group you're currently in — meaning you cannot apply on behalf of multiple creators in one go. If you apply while in the wrong Creator’s Access Group, the application will be submitted under the wrong creator's profile.
How to check you're in the correct Access Group:
When you first open a campaign application, you'll see an "Access Groups & Social Sets" section. Confirm the correct creator is selected before proceeding, then click Start Application.
Tip: If you manage a large roster, use your browser's Find function (Command-F on Mac, Ctrl-F on Windows) to quickly locate a creator in the Access Group switcher.
Step 2: Complete the Application
Once you're in the correct Access Group:
Confirm required social profiles are authenticated
Applications often require connected Instagram, TikTok, or other social profiles
If a creator's profiles are missing or their connection has expired, ask them to log in and re-authenticate before you apply — see the messaging template at the bottom of this article
Enter or confirm profile details, including but not limited to:
Contact email — this is the address the brand will use to communicate with you about the campaign
Creator's address (if required for product shipping)
Creator's demographics (if required)
Accept the Terms & Privacy Agreement
Open each linked document
Check the acknowledgement box
Click Apply to Campaign
(Optional) Join the Creator Marketplace
If the creator hasn't joined the Creator Marketplace yet, you'll be prompted to choose:
Join Marketplace — the creator becomes discoverable by brands
No Thanks — the creator remains private and will only receive direct invitations
After the Application Is Submitted
The brand will review applications and, if the creator is selected, reach out via the contact email you provided. Next steps may include:
Timeline confirmations
Content concept, submissions and draft reviews
Posting instructions
Incentive and payment details
Example Messaging
Situation: A creator needs to re-authenticate their social profiles before you can apply
Hi {{creator name}},
There's an exciting opportunity we'd like to apply for: {{insert details here}}. Before we can submit your application, we need you to refresh the connection between your Instagram profile and Later.
Why this is needed: Instagram requires all third-party tools (including Later) to refresh their connection roughly every 60 days. It's a standard security measure, so you may occasionally be asked to re-authenticate your profile.
