Managing Later Plan Add-ons: Users & Social Sets

Tip: This article is about how to adjust the number of users and social sets that you pay for in your plan. How Add-ons Work

Note: Social Set and user add-ons are not available for in-app purchases through Later’s iOS app. If you’d like the option of purchasing add-ons for your Growth or Advanced plan, be sure to sign up for Later on desktop via our pricing page (or your existing account’s subscription page).

If you’re on a Growth, Advanced, or Scale plan, and you signed up to Later through desktop, you can increase the number of users and Social Sets on your plan at any time. You can decrease them as well, so long as you don’t go below the base amount that your plan comes with.

For example: Our Advanced plan comes with 6 Social Sets and 6 users. Say you’d previously added 3 extra Social Sets, bringing the total to 9. You are free to remove these additional Social Sets; however, you won’t be able to go below the base amount of 6.

Note: Free, Creator, and Starter plans are limited to 1 user and 1 social set.

The cost of add-ons is prorated, too! You'll only be charged for the time remaining on the current billing cycle, then the full add-on price for future cycles. And if you remove add-ons, you’ll only lose access to them at the end of your billing cycle.

If you want to decrease the number of users and Social Sets on your plan to below the base amount that your plan comes with, you can downgrade your plan instead. If you’re not going below the base amount—or if you’re looking to add more!—please proceed with the steps below.

Note: If you want to downgrade from a Scale plan to a different Later plan, please reach out to our team for assistance.

Managing Growth or Advanced Plan Add-ons

If you’re on Later’s Growth or Advanced plan, follow the steps below to manage your add-ons:

From app.later.com on desktop, go to Settings > Subscription
Under Current Plan, click Change Plan
Under your current plan level, click Manage Your Plan
From the plan editing page, use the + and - icons next to Extra Social Sets and Extra Users sections to increase or decrease the amount in your plan:
- Your updated plan price will be displayed in the Plan Summary sidebar on the right
Click Update Plan

Managing Scale Plan Add-ons

If you’re on a Later Scale plan, follow the steps below to manage your add-ons:

From app.later.com on desktop, go to Settings > Subscription
Click Upgrade Plan
Scroll down to where it says Scale 15 and Scale 30 under Find your perfect plan
Click the Start Free Trial button under the Scale plan that you’re currently on
- Don’t worry—we won’t actually start a new trial for you. Since you’re already on a Scale plan, this button will direct you to the plan editing page instead.
From the plan editing page, use the + and - icons next to Extra Social Sets and Extra Users sections to increase or decrease the amount in your plan:
- Your updated plan price will be displayed in the Plan Summary sidebar on the right
Click Update Plan
