Change Your Later Plan

Overview

You can make changes to your Later plan at any time. This article will walk you through how to switch between Later’s different paid plans.

Tip: If you signed up for a current paid plan (excluding Starter) through desktop, you can also add and remove extra Social Sets and users and credits as plan add-ons!

You can change between Later’s Starter, Growth, or Scale plans on desktop or iOS.

Note: See About Billing section below for how charges work when you change plans.

From app.later.com on desktop, go to Settings > Subscription
Click Upgrade Plan or Change Plan
In the right-hand corner of the page, toggle between Monthly and Yearly to view the terms of your preferred billing cycle
Under your preferred plan, click Select Plan
If downgrading, review the upcoming changes and click Continue
Optional: Add or remove extra Social Sets and users, if needed (only available on Growth plans or higher)
Enter or update your payment details, if needed
Select yearly or monthly billing
Review the updated pricing on the right sidebar, then click Update Plan

Tip: Save by switching to yearly billing!

On Later’s iOS app, tap Account
Tap All Plans
- Only legacy Starter, Growth, and Advanced plans are available through iOS
Tap the plan you’d like to sign up for and click Select Plan
Tap Subscribe and sign in with your Apple ID
Follow the prompts to complete your plan change

Upgrades take effect immediately. Billing is prorated based on your original sign-up method:

Desktop: You’ll receive credit for unused time on your current plan. This credit is automatically applied to the prorated cost of your new plan
iOS: You’ll be refunded for the remaining time on the lower plan and the new plan will be charged at full price

Downgrades take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle. You’ll retain access to your current plan and add-ons until then.
