Account Owners can access important information, including payment and billing history, users, and Access Groups.
If you try to access one of these pages but don't have permission, you'll see a message showing you who the primary Account Owner is. If you believe you’re the Account Owner but still can’t access billing history or user settings, make sure you're logged in in with the right email address.
If you're not the account owner, see Using Later as an Account User for more help getting started and learning which features are available to account users in Later.
What the Account Owner Can Do
Account Owners can do the following in Later:
- Add or remove users
- Create new Access Groups
- View account billing information
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan
- Delete your account
Managing users is separate from changing the Account Owner. Account ownership can’t be transferred by selecting a user from the Users page.
Account ownership can’t be transferred to an existing user from the Users page, and changing the Account Owner email can’t use an email address that’s already associated with the account as a user or admin.
To make a different person the Account Owner, you’ll need to change the account email address to an email that is not already associated with any Later account. See Change the Account Owner Email for a Later Social Account.
