Later’s connection to your social profiles allows us to publish posts, collect content, show analytics, and more. To keep your accounts secure, your connection to Later will sometimes expire and require re-authentication.
Note: We’ve found that users who manage more than 5 Social Sets may need to refresh their connections more frequently. This is due to security measures put in place by Meta, who determine how frequently and under what circumstances access expires. We‘ll do our best to help you maintain your connection with Later by notifying you when your connections have expired and providing advance notice whenever possible to avoid interruptions.
Here are some common reasons why your connection might expire:
- You’ve been connected for 2 months (this is normal! Your connection will always expire every so often for your security)
- You changed your social profile’s password or username
- Suspicious login attempts were detected on your profile (for example, from a new location)
- Later doesn’t have all the permissions it needs, or these permissions were revoked
- A security issue was detected on your profile
- Spammy behavior was detected on your profile (for example, posting too frequently or posting repetitive content)
- The person who originally connected the profile no longer has the right admin permissions (for example, if they left the company)
If you have an expired profile, you’ll need to refresh your connection.
