When you upgrade from one paid plan to another, your payments are prorated as follows:
- If you signed up for your Later plan on desktop, we’ll credit you for unused time on your current plan and automatically apply it toward the prorated cost of your new plan
- If you signed up for your Later plan through iOS, you’ll be refunded for the remaining time on the lower plan and the new plan will be charged at full price
If you downgrade, you’ll move to the lower plan at the end of your current billing cycle. That means you’ll still have access to all your current plan’s features until then!
Ready to upgrade? Follow these steps (based on whether you signed up for your plan via desktop or iOS):
Desktop
- In Later on the web, go to Settings > Subscription
- Click Change Plan
- Select the new plan you want to upgrade to
- In checkout, review your new plan details and click Update Plan
Important: If you signed up for a paid plan before August 5th, 2020, you’ll have to switch to our new pricing structure if you want to change plans.
Did you know? If you sign up for your Later plan on desktop (not through iOS), you can add extra Social Sets and users and credits as plan add-ons to current paid plans (excluding Starter), without having to upgrade to a higher plan. Add-ons are prorated, too.
iOS (In-App Purchase)
- On Later’s iOS app, tap Account
- Tap All Plans
- Only Starter, Growth, and Advanced plans are available through iOS
- Tap the plan you’d like to sign up for > Select Plan
- Tap Subscribe and sign in with your Apple ID
- Follow the prompts to complete your plan change
