Create a signup form on your Link in Bio page to collect emails for newsletters, marketing, and promotions. Emails can be collected through CSV exports or your Mailchimp account via our Mailchimp integration.

Important:

• Email collection is is available on all current plans, including Free
• Only Managers, Admins, or Owners of a Mailchimp account can connect to Link in Bio
  • Through the Mailchimp integration, emails collected from Link in Bio will be added to your Mailchimp account
  • If you delete the Mailchimp app from your Link in Bio page, your signup form will be deleted, but collected emails will stay in your Mailchimp account
• CSV reports are available to download from the Link in Bio manager for 24 hours after export
  
  • The CSV report will auto-download to your computer when it’s done
• If a user unsubscribes from your email list, they won’t be deleted from future CSV reports
  • You’re responsible for filtering out emails from your CSV report that have unsubscribed
    

Collect Emails Through CSV Export

Follow these steps to create a signup form to collect emails to a CSV file:

1. From app.later.com on desktop, select Link in Bio in the left side menu
2. Under Blocks, select Add in the Email Collection section
3. Under How do you want to collect emails?, select CSV Export
4. [Optional] Under Tag for Collected Emails, add a tag to label collected emails with
5. Under Email Collection Block, enter a block title and optional block description
6. Under Signup Form, enter a title, optional description, consent text, and signup button CTA text for your signup form
   • This pops up after the email collection block is selected
   Important: The default language used for consent text is representative only and may not meet your legal obligations. Always make sure you comply with applicable law, including consent requirements.
7. Select Save Changes

Collect Emails Through Mailchimp

Add the Mailchimp app to your Link in Bio page so you can collect emails and grow your audience. With the Mailchimp app, you can create a custom signup form so your visitors can subscribe to your newsletter, sign up for a promotion, or opt-in to marketing emails—the choice is yours!

Follow these steps to connect your Mailchimp account and create a signup form:

1. From app.later.com on desktop, select Link in Bio in the left side menu
2. Under Blocks, select Add in the Email Collection section
3. Under How do you want to collect emails?, select Mailchimp
4. Select Connect and follow the prompts authorize your Mailchimp account
5. Under Email Collection Block, enter a block title and optional block description
   • These will appear on your Link in Bio homepage
6. In the Mailchimp Audience dropdown, select the audience you want collected emails to go to
   
   Note: Only Later account owners can select an audience list. Non-account owners can connect their Mailchimp account, but can't see audience lists.
7. Under Signup Form, enter a title, optional description, and button text for your Mailchimp signup form
   • This pops up after the email collection block is selected
8. Select Save Changes
