Connect your Instagram Shop to Later, so you can tag products on your Instagram posts and Reels and then automatically publish them! 

Important: 

• Tagging Instagram Shop products is available for Growth plans and up
• You can tag Instagram Shop products if you have an Instagram business or creator profile
  
• You can tag up to 5 products per media item or Reel, and up to 20 in a Multi-Photo (carousel) post
  • Tagging products in Instagram Stories isn't supported
• You can’t tag the same product twice in a media item
• Tags in Reels will appear in the bottom left corner of the Reel, and the tag will be applied to the entirety of the Reel (not a single product within the video)
• You can’t tag gift cards in posts
• Later doesn't approve products or review product appeals Learn more
• You can’t appeal products in Later Learn more
• Already-published Instagram posts can't have product tags added retroactively through Later
• Instagram Shop is available in supported countries

Add Your Instagram Shop to Later

1. Using app.later.com on desktop, create an Instagram post that you want to tag
2. In the Post Builder, select Connect Instagram Shop
3. Select the Instagram Shop you want to connect to
4. After your Shop is connected, you can start tagging products!

Tag Instagram Shop Products 

1. Select Tag Products in the Post Builder
   
   Note: Make sure your media is cropped before tagging products.
2. Select + Tag Another Product
3. Select Select a catalog
4. Select the catalog you want to tag products from 
5. Select the product listed in the catalog you want to tag
   
   Note: You can’t tag gift cards or specific types of products (for example, color) in posts
   • For image posts, select the image to choose the location of your tag
     
   • For Multi-Photo (carousel) posts, select the thumbnail to tag products in that image
     
     Note: You can’t choose tag locations in Reels—your tag will appear in the bottom left corner, and be applied to the entirety of the Reel.
6. To tag more Shop products, select + Tag Another Product 
7. Once you’ve finished tagging products, select Done
8. Finish creating your post, then select Save
