In this Article:
All products you add to your Instagram Shop are reviewed and approved by Instagram. Only approved products will be tagged in published Instagram posts.
To help you tag your Instagram Shop Products, Later will show the approval status (from Instagram) of your products. This will help you know which products are approved, which products are being reviewed by Instagram, and which products have been rejected (not approved).
Important:
- You will need to check Instagram for notifications about Instagram Shop product approvals
- Later does not approve Instagram Shop products. Go to Instagram’s Help Center to learn how Instagram Shopping tag approvals work
- You can’t appeal products through Later. Go to Instagram’s Help Center to learn how to request a product appeal on Instagram
When you go to tag Instagram Shop products in Later, each product will have 1 of 3 approval statuses:
Status | Meaning |
Not Approved |
The product has been rejected by Instagram. You can’t tag products that are not approved. Tip: If a product is not approved, you might be able to request a product appeal on Instagram. Learn more
|
Pending |
The product is being reviewed by Instagram. Important: If you schedule a post with a pending product tag, the post will fail to publish.
|
Approved |
The product has been approved by Instagram and you can tag it when scheduling your post. The product tag will be added when your post is published. Note: If a product doesn’t have a status, it’s approved. Only products that are not approved or pending show a status.
