Performance Report turns your Instagram analytics into a shareable link you can send to your team, clients, or anyone else who needs to see how your account is performing. Later builds the report from your existing analytics data, so all you do is share the link.
What's in Your Performance Report
Each Performance Report covers a 90-day reporting period (some metrics may reflect a different period) and includes:
- Profile Growth and Discovery: new followers and profile views from the reporting period
- Audience Demographics: top follower countries, ages, the percentage of male and female followers, and when your followers were online
- Industry Comparison: how your analytics compare to profiles in your industry with a similar follower count (you can turn this on or off in report settings)
- Link in Bio Interactions: page views, clicks, and click-through percentage of your Link in Bio page
- Post Summary: median reach, likes, comments, and engagement from your posts in the reporting period
- Best Performing Posts: your top 5 posts from your last 30 posts in the reporting period
- Story Summary: average views, median reach, and median replies from your Stories in the reporting period
- Best Performing Stories: your top 5 Stories from the last 7 days of the reporting period, excluding the last day
Note: Instagram post and Story performance can vary widely. To give a more accurate view, we use a median formula rather than an average.

Limitations
A few additional limits to keep in mind:
- Performance Report is accessed through a unique link, not a downloadable file (use Chrome's Save as PDF option if you need a file)
- Reports cover a 90-day period, though some metrics may reflect a different period
- If your Instagram connection to Later expired during the reporting period, data from that gap may be missing
- Performance Report is available for Instagram only, not Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, or LinkedIn
