Access Groups are one of the most important features for talent agents using Later. They allow you to manage your roster from one Talent Partnerships account while keeping each Talent's data completely separate.
Think of each Access Group as an individual Talent's profile within Later Social — their own private workspace containing everything related to them and only them.
Whether you manage two creators or hundreds, Access Groups keep your workspace organized and ensure that your creators never see each other's social profiles, analytics, or campaigns.
What Is an Access Group?
An Access Group is an individual creator's profile within your agency's Later Social account.
Each Access Group has its own:
- Social profiles (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Media Library
- Campaigns
- Calendar & scheduled posts
- Users
Because each creator is assigned to their own Access Group, they can only see content within that group — and nothing else.
This means:
- Creators won't see other creators' content or data
- You can switch between creators instantly at any time using the Access Group Switcher
- Your team members can be assigned access only to the creators they represent
Why Access Groups Matter for Talent Agents & Managers
Access Groups allow you to:
- Give your team controlled access: assign team members only to the creators they work with, while ensuring each creator's full team (agents, assistants, coordinators, brand partnerships team members, etc.) has access to the appropriate Access Groups
- Switch between creators quickly: no extra logins, shared passwords, or account hopping. Use the Access Group Switcher in the bottom-left corner of Later to jump instantly between creators
- Maintain security: creators authenticate their own social profiles, so you never need their passwords
Talent Partnerships Setup: One Creator = One Access Group
Each creator on your roster will have their own dedicated Access Group. This keeps their data fully separated and makes your agency account easy to navigate as your roster grows.
When a talent agent is logged in, they'll see all Access Groups they have been assigned to — giving them a clear view of every creator they manage. When a creator logs in, they'll only ever see their own Access Group.

Assigning Team Members to Access Groups
Team members are assigned per Access Group, not across the whole Talent Partnerships account. This means you have granular control over who can see what.
A few common setups:
- If a team member only works with specific creators → add them to those Access Groups only
- If a brand partnerships team member oversees all creators → add them to every Access Group
- If an assistant supports one creator exclusively → add them to that creator's Access Group only
If you need a team member to be added to one or more specific Access Groups, please reach out to support on: talentpartnerships@later.com
Using the Access Group Switcher
Talent representatives typically manage multiple creators throughout the day. The Access Group Switcher lets you jump instantly from one creator's profile to another without logging out.
How to switch:
- Go to the bottom-left corner of the sidebar
- Click the current Access Group name
- Select the creator you want to switch to
