TikTok scheduling is available for users on all Later plans, including Free

You can see, edit, or delete scheduled TikTok posts through Later for desktop and Later's iOS and Android apps
- TikTok Photo (carousel) posts are supported on desktop and iOS only
- Auto Publish is available for both TikTok Personal and Business Accounts

Videos scheduled to TikTok must be between 3 seconds and 3 minutes long
- TikTok videos can be trimmed and cropped when scheduling through Later for desktop
- Photos scheduled to TikTok must be under 20 MB and maximum 1080 x 1920 pixels (or 1920 x 1080 pixels) in JPG/JPEG, PNG, or WebP format
- PNG images will be converted to JPG upon publish
- Duets and Stitches aren’t supported for TikTok Photo posts
- You can select a frame from the video to use as a cover photo when scheduling a TikTok video for auto publishing through Later for desktop
- Selecting a cover photo isn't supported on Later's iOS or Android apps
- For notification posts, you can add a cover photo directly in TikTok during the publishing process
Limitations:
Due to API limitations from TikTok:
- The character limit for TikTok captions is 2,200 on iOS and 150 on Android
- Auto published posts can only use original audio
Tip: If you want to use trending audio or music, the best method is to schedule your TikTok post for notification publishing and add the audio during the posting process in TikTok.
Add Your TikTok Profile
- From Later for desktop, select the + button at the top of your Calendar to add a social profile
- Select an empty TikTok profile slot and select Add Social Profile
- Log in to TikTok to add your TikTok profile

Schedule a TikTok Post
Desktop
- From Later for desktop, select media item(s) from your side library and create a post
- Next to Post Type, select Video or Photo (for a carousel)
- For TikTok Photo posts, you can also add a Post Title
- Write a caption or add Saved Captions
- If you change your mind and want to use different media, select Change Media
- Use Edit to trim and crop your video, if needed
- Select Auto Publish or Send Notification
- Select your scheduled date and time

Optional Edits:
- Select Select Cover to select a frame from the video for the cover photo
- Add a Link in Bio link
- Configure your privacy settings for Comments, Duets, and Stitches (Auto Publish posts only; Duets and Stitches not supported for TikTok Photo posts)
- For TikTok Photo posts, select whether to Auto Add Sound, which will automatically add recommended music to the post (this can be changed later from the TikTok app)

Select Schedule Post
- Alternatively, select the down arrow next to the Schedule Post button > Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later
iOS
Note: Selecting a cover photo isn't supported on iOS.

In Later's iOS app from the Schedule tab, tap the create-post button in the bottom right
- Select your TikTok profile from the top of the Post Builder

Add your caption and hashtags, or use a Saved Caption
- The character limit for TikTok captions on iOS is 2,200 characters
- Tap + to select your media from your Media Library, upload new media item(s) from your device
- Select your publishing method (Auto Publish or Push Notification Publish)
- Under More Options, toggle whether you'd like to allow Comments, Duets, and Stitches (Auto Publish posts only; Duets and Stitches not supported for TikTok Photo posts)
- Tap Change next to where it says No Time Selected
- Select a date and time for publishing, or tap Now under Select a Time to publish now
- Tap Save
- Tap Schedule Post
- Alternatively, tap Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later
Android
Note: TikTok Photo (carousel) posts and selecting a cover photo aren’t supported on Android.
- In Later's Android app from the Schedule tab, tap the create-post button in the bottom right
- Select your TikTok profile from the top of the Post Builder

- Tap + to select your video from your Media Library or upload a new media item from your device
- Select your publishing method (Auto Publish or Push Notification)
- Under More Options, toggle whether you'd like to allow Comments, Duets, and Stitches (Auto Publish posts only)
- Tap Change to select the date and time for publishing
- Tap Schedule Post
- Alternatively, tap Save as Draft to save your post as a draft and come back to it later
Publish Your TikTok Post Using Notification Publishing
If you select the Send Notification option while scheduling, we’ll send you a push notification when it’s time for you to publish your TikTok post. Choose your device below to see how it's done.
If you select Auto Publish while scheduling, your post will automatically go live on its scheduled date and time—no further action required!
iOS Instructions
- Open the notification on your mobile device
- Tap Open in TikTok
- Confirm you’re logged into the TikTok account that you scheduled your post for
- Edit your video in TikTok
- Paste the caption we copied for you
- Post to TikTok
Android Instructions
- Open the notification on your mobile device
- Tap Open in TikTok
- Confirm you’re logged into the TikTok account that you scheduled your post for
- Edit your video in TikTok
- Paste the caption we copied for you
- Post to TikTok
