With Later, you can crop photos and add filters when scheduling posts.
Important:
- Cropping and filters are available on all of Later’s plans, including the Free plan
- You can only crop and add filters to photos when creating or editing a post
- Crops and filters will not be saved on your photo in the Media Library
- Cropping can be done on both Later on the web and Later’s mobile app
- Photo filters can only be applied from Later on the web
Cropping Photos
Crop your photos to fit the social platform you’re scheduling to.
- In Later on the web, create a new post or open a scheduled post.
- Click Edit in the top left corner of your photo.
- Use Freeform to customize your crop size, or select a social platform crop size.
- Move your crop frame to where you want it.
- Click Update Image to save.
Note: In Later’s mobile app, you can crop photos by tapping Edit on the photo and then the crop icon.
Tip: To remove the crop on your photo, click Clear Crop.
Adding Filters to Photos
Use Later’s 24 photo filters to give your photos a new look when scheduling them.
- In Later on the web, create a new post or open a scheduled post.
- Click Edit in the top left corner of your photo.
- Click Filters.
- Choose a filter and use the slider below to adjust the intensity of the filter.
- Click Update Image to save.
Tip: To remove the filter on your photo, click Clear Filters.
