Tag Users in Instagram Posts
- From Later for desktop, create a post (or open a post on your Calendar)
- Make sure the publishing method is set to Auto Publish
- Select + Tag People at the bottom of your image
- Select anywhere on your image to choose the location of the user tag
- Under Instagram User, type in the username you want to tag
- Select Save User Tag
- After tagging all the users you want, select Done
Important: Due to Instagram limitations, Later can’t auto-complete or spellcheck usernames. Please double-check the spelling of the username before saving. Private Instagram accounts can’t be tagged.
Tip: To mention a user in an Instagram post, simply add their @username to your post caption.
Add Locations to Instagram Posts
- From Later for desktop, create a post (or open a post on your Calendar)
- Make sure the publishing method is set to Auto Publish
- Select Add Location under the image
- Start typing in the location and select the right one
- Select Save
Important: Due to recent Instagram changes, only business locations can be tagged in Later. For example, typing a city like Toronto will only show businesses located there, not the city itself. Learn more
