Ownership of a Later Social account is managed through the account email address. Changing the account email address also changes the account admin, or Account Owner.
The account email address is used to log in to Later and receive account notifications and transactional emails.
Requirements for Changing the Account Email
- You must be able to log in to the Later Social account to change the account email address.
- The new email address can’t already be associated with another Later account as a user or admin.
- Each email address can only be associated with one Later account.
- Only Later Social account email addresses can be updated using this process.
- If your email address is also tied to a Later Influence account, it can’t be updated this way. Please reach out to your account manager for help.
Change Your Account Email
To update the Account Owner of a Later Social account, change the account email address:
- From Later on desktop, go to Settings > Account Settings.
- Scroll to Personal Information & Security.
Next to Email, select Change
- Enter and confirm the new account email address. This will be the email address for the new Account Owner.
- Select Change Email.
After changing the email address, you’ll be logged out of Later. The new Account Owner can then log in using the updated account email address.

No, we don’t change email addresses for free Later Social accounts.
