Does Later charge sales tax?
Depending on your location, you may be charged sales tax on your Later subscription. Tax is not included in the price of your plan. Any applicable tax will be charged in addition to the price of your plan and will be outlined separately on your receipts.
Canada-based Customers
Sales tax is charged based on your province or territory, in compliance with Canadian tax laws.
Customers outside of Canada
We are in the process of rolling out sales tax globally, so you may be charged tax based on your location, if applicable.
Change your mailing address
Your mailing address is used to calculate applicable tax. You can update your mailing address on the Payment & Billing History page in your Later account:
- From app.later.com on desktop, click Settings > Subscription
- Next to Payment & Billing History, click Details
- Next to Mailing Address, click Edit
- Enter your updated mailing address
- When you're done, click Save
Tax Exemptions
If your business is not required to pay tax, please reach out to our team with your tax exemption certificate and we will adjust your account accordingly.
Does Later have a VAT or Tax Number?
Later is a Canadian company and has a Canadian Tax Number: 83702 1591
Because Later is a Canadian company, we do not have a VAT number.
Can I add VAT/tax information to my receipts?
You can add your VAT/tax information to your receipts from the Payment & Billing History page of your settings. Learn more
Can I get a signed W9 or W-8BEN-E form?
As a non-US based company, we’re happy to offer you a signed W-8BEN-E form for US tax purposes. This can be downloaded below:
