Tags in Later let you track and analyze performance in a way that reflects how your content is planned: by campaign, product, or strategy.
Instead of viewing results one post at a time, tags give you a flexible way to group posts and filter analytics across channels, formats, and timeframes, making it easier to understand what's driving results. You can tag drafts, pending approval, and other pre-publish post states, making tagging part of planning, not just reporting.
Before you begin:
- Post Tags in Later are flexible labels you can apply to your content to track themes, formats, or products. They help you organize posts and measure performance beyond the individual post level.
- Campaign Tags are designed for grouping content that belongs to a specific campaign.
Why use Post Tags?
Post Tags make it easier to:
- Organize posts by campaign, product line, or strategy
- Replace manual tracking with built-in workflows
- Report on engagement by tag
- Filter analytics dashboards and exports by post or campaign tag for clearer insights

- Compare different strategies side by side
- Report on ROI, ROAS, and engagement with cleaner data
- Export dashboards with tag-based filters applied
