This article covers the types of emails you may receive as a Later account holder, and how to manage your communication preferences.
Types of Emails
Emails from Later can be promotional or transactional in nature:

Can be sent to any email address, at your chosen frequency—here’s how |
Are only sent to the Later Account Owner, for all plans (including Free), and the frequency can’t be modified |
Can be unsubscribed from—here’s how |
Cannot be unsubscribed from unless you delete your Later account |
Tip: Not sure whether an email is promotional or transactional? Scroll to the bottom and check whether there is an Unsubscribe link. Transactional emails will not have an unsubscribe option, because Later is obligated to inform you of upcoming changes to your account.
Update Your Communication Preferences
You can customize how often you receive promotional emails from Later, as well as to which email address and name they are sent. You can also opt out (unsubscribe) entirely—see below.
To update your preferences:
- Open any promotional email from Later
- Scroll to the bottom of the email
- Click Manage Preferences
- If you don’t see it, then click Unsubscribe > Update your preferences on the page that follows
- Update your email address, name, and email frequency preference
- Click Update Preferences
Unsubscribe From Promotional Emails
If you no longer want to receive promotional email communications from Later, just click here, enter your email address, and click Unsubscribe.
Important: Unsubscribing from promotional emails will not prevent you from receiving transactional emails, such as Terms of Service updates. The only way to stop receiving transactional emails from Later is to delete your Later account.
