Wondering if your social profile is properly connected to Later? Not sure what the current status of your profile means? This article will break down the different statuses a profile can be in, and how to fix it if needed.
Find Your Profile Status
- In Later on the web, go to Social Sets & Access Groups
- Click Edit beside the Access Group that contains the social profile in question
- Beside the social profile, under Status, you’ll see the profile’s current state
Understanding Statuses
The social profile status shows if a social profile is connected fully, partially, or not at all. If it’s not fully connected, you’ll need to take steps to fix the connection. If not, some Later features may not work.
Below are the statuses a profile can be in, what the status means, and the guide to fix it if needed.

Connected This shows that the social profile is properly connected to Later. No further action is needed. |

Connected: Enable Auto Publish (Instagram business profiles only) This shows that an Instagram business profile is connected, but Auto Publish hasn't been enabled yet. To fix, see: Enable Auto Publish for Instagram |
