Ownership of a Later Social account can be transferred by changing the email address associated with it. This will make the new user the account administrator (Account Owner).
Making a new user the admin of your Later account changes the email you log in to Later with, and is also the email address to which any account notifications and transactional emails are sent.
Important: Only Later Social account email addresses can be updated. If your email address is also tied to a Later Influence account, it can't be updated via this process—please reach out to your account manager instead.
Change Your Account Email
You can change your Later account email address, which will also change the admin of your Later account (Account Owner), as follows:
Note: You must be able to access your Later account in order to complete this process. If you can't remember your account email or aren't currently able to log in, please reach out to our team for assistance.
- From Later for desktop, select Settings > Account Settings (or click here)
- Scroll down to the Personal Information & Security section
- Next to Email, select Change:
- Enter and confirm the new account email address (the email of the new account admin):
Note: Your new email address can't be associated with any other Later accounts as a user or admin (Account Owner). Each email address can only be associated with one Later account. - Select Change Email
After changing your email, you'll be logged out of Later. You (or the new account admin) can now log back in using the new account email.
Note: We don’t change email addresses for free Later Social accounts. If your social profiles are linked to a free account that you don’t have access to, please create a new Later Social account and then reach out to us to verify ownership of the social profiles instead.
