At Later, we’re always trying something new. This is why we’ve added beta labels to some of our features.
What does beta mean?
If you see a beta label on a Later feature, it means that it’s a new feature we’re working on getting perfect. Beta releases help us:
- Find bugs
- Monitor app performance
- Create a better experience for you!
You also get to try out new features sooner when we release beta features. However, it also means the feature might not always work right. Or, you might notice that a feature changes more than you’re used to. This is all part of the process, and we thank you for your patience when these things happen!
How can I use beta features?
If you’re in the app and see a feature that has a beta label, you should be able to use it right away.
However, sometimes beta features are invite-only and only available to some users. If a beta is invite-only, you might not see a beta label.
What are Later’s beta features?
For some (but not all!) of our beta features, we’ll have a help article with more information. If there isn’t a help article, you will usually receive an email with instructions (this often happens with our betas that are invite-only).
