The Featured Media block in Linkin.bio lets you add a visual centerpiece to your Linkin.bio page. This article will show you what you can feature, and how to edit this Linkin.bio block. 

About Featured Media in Linkin.bio

Featured Media is a full-width Linkin.bio block, located below buttons and above Linked Instagram Posts:

With this eye-catching block you can showcase your latest linked Instagram post (all plans), and on paid plans you can embed a YouTube video, feature your latest linked TikTok post, or upload custom media!

Feature Your Latest Linkin.bio Post

Use your latest linked Instagram post, and the first 160 characters of the caption, as an enlarged feature image. On paid plans, you also have the option to feature your latest linked TikTok post. To enable this: 

1. In Later on the web, click Linkin.bio in the side menu
2. Under Blocks, click Featured Media
3. Under What do you want to feature? click the dropdown menu and select Latest Instagram Linkin.bio Post or, if on a paid plan, Latest TikTok Linkin.bio Post 
4. Click Save Changes 

Now your latest linked Instagram or TikTok post and captions will show as the featured media. This will be updated every time a new linked Instagram or TikTok post is added to your Linkin.bio feed. 

Feature a YouTube Video

Available on Creator, Starter, Growth, and Advanced plans 

Embed a YouTube video of your choice to highlight your brand or campaign, or show off your latest creation. To do this: 

1. In Later on the web, click Linkin.bio in the side menu
2. Under Blocks, click Featured Media 
3. Under What do you want to feature? click the dropdown menu and select YouTube Video 
4. Enter the YouTube video URL 
5. Click Save Changes

The YouTube video will now be live on your Linkin.bio page. Update this at any time by changing the URL in the Linkin.bio management page. 

Feature Custom Media

Available on Creator, Starter, Growth, and Advanced plans 

Upload any image you want! It'll stay on your page until you're ready to switch it up. To do this: 

1. In Later on the web, click Linkin.bio in the side menu
2. Under Blocks, click Featured Media 
3. Under What do you want to feature? click the dropdown menu and select Custom Media
4. Upload your image
   • For best results, upload an image up to 1360 x 765 pixels
5. Add a link
   • This is where your visitors will be sent when they click the featured image
6. [Optional] Add a caption and alt text
7. Click Save Changes

Remove Featured Media

Don’t want to feature media right now?

1. In Later on the web, click Linkin.bio in the side menu
2. Under Blocks, click Featured Media 
3. Under What do you want to feature? Click the dropdown menu and select No Featured Media
4. Click Save Changes
