Talent Partnerships Accounts let talent managers manage their roster in one Later account. Creators can take part in campaigns, submit content, and receive payment through Later.
Before moving a creator to a Talent Partnerships Account, make sure they have finished any campaigns they started in their personal Later account.
Finish Active Campaigns Before Moving Accounts
If a creator has already joined a campaign through their personal Later account, they should stay in that account until the campaign is complete.
This includes:
- Posting all required deliverables
- Submitting any required content or reporting
- Receiving payment for the campaign
Important: Do not move a creator to a Talent Partnerships Account while they have an active campaign in their personal Later account. Moving them removes them from the campaign. They will need to apply again, be accepted again, and resubmit any required work.
Why You Should Wait
A creator's campaign activity stays connected to the account they used to apply for and join the campaign.
If the creator moves to a different account before the campaign is complete, they will need to:
- Apply to the campaign again through the Talent Partnerships Account
- Be accepted into the campaign again
- Resubmit any required content or reporting
Payments must also be processed through the account and campaign where the creator originally participated. You cannot move payment for an active campaign to another account.
When to Move a Creator
Move a creator to the Talent Partnerships Account only after they have:
- Finished all campaign deliverables
- Submitted any required reporting
- Received their campaign payment
Once these are complete, the creator can use the Talent Partnerships Account for future campaigns.
To join the Talent Partnerships Account, the creator needs an email address that is not already used for another Later account.
Note: An email address can only be associated with one Later account at a time. The creator will need a different email address to sign in to the Talent Partnerships Account.
Opening Campaign Invitations
Campaign invitations may be sent to the email address associated with a creator's personal Later account. This can happen if their personal account was the most recent account used to take part in a campaign.
Important: Creators must open application links while signed in to their Talent Partnerships Account. If they open and apply through their personal Later account, they will join the campaign through that account instead.
Before opening an invitation link, make sure the creator is signed in to their Talent Partnerships Account. This ensures the campaign is connected to the correct account.
For Talent Managers
Before adding a creator to your Talent Partnerships Account, confirm that they do not have any active campaigns in their personal Later account.
If they do, ask them to finish their deliverables and wait until they have been paid. Then add them to your Talent Partnerships Account for future opportunities.
When sending a creator a campaign invitation, remind them to sign in to their Talent Partnerships Account before opening the application link.
For Creators
If you have already joined a campaign through your personal Later account, keep using that account until you have completed the campaign and received payment.
Once the campaign is complete, your talent manager can help you join their Talent Partnerships Account for future campaigns. You will need a different email address to sign in to that account.
When you receive an invitation to a future campaign, sign in to your Talent Partnerships Account before opening the application link.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can a creator move accounts while a campaign is in progress?
No. Moving accounts removes the creator from the campaign. They will need to apply again and resubmit any required work. Campaign history will not carry over to the Talent Partnerships Account.
Can a creator be paid through a different Later account?
No. A creator must be paid through the campaign and account they used to join that campaign.
The creator has posted their content. Can they move now?
Wait until they have completed all campaign requirements and received payment.
What should a creator do if a campaign invitation arrives in their personal email inbox?
They should sign in to their Talent Partnerships Account before opening the application link. The email inbox where they receive the invitation does not determine which Later account they use to apply.
Can a creator use the same email address in their personal account and Talent Partnerships Account?
No. Each Later account needs its own email address.
