Post YouTube Videos and Shorts for Campaigns in Later Social

You’re taking part in a campaign with YouTube deliverables. Connect your YouTube channel, add the campaign’s YouTube Binding Hashtag, and check that your video appears in Live Deliverables.

Connect Your YouTube Channel

Connect your YouTube channel when you apply to a campaign with YouTube deliverables.

1. Open the campaign application in Later Social
2. Review the campaign requirements
3. When prompted, select the option to connect your YouTube channel
4. Follow the YouTube authorization steps
5. Return to your campaign application
6. Finish submitting your application

Prepare Your YouTube Video or Short

Before you publish, use the exact YouTube Binding Hashtag for your campaign. Find it at the top of your campaign details under Required Hashtags.

The YouTube Binding Hashtag helps Later identify eligible YouTube Videos and Shorts and automatically bind them to your campaign deliverable.

Publish Your Video

Add the YouTube Binding Hashtag to your video caption before you publish.

1. Create your YouTube Video or YouTube Short in YouTube
2. Add the exact YouTube Binding Hashtag to the caption
3. Publish your video

Later checks for eligible matching content every two hours. When Later finds your video, it automatically binds the video to your campaign deliverable.

Add the Hashtag After Publishing

If you publish without the YouTube Binding Hashtag, edit the video caption in YouTube and add it afterwards. Later can detect an eligible video during a later collection check. Allow up to two hours for the video to appear in your campaign.

Check That Your Video Appears in Live Deliverables

Open your campaign in Later Social to review your deliverables.

1. From the left sidebar, select Creator Home
2. Select Manage Campaigns
3. Select Open Campaign beside the relevant campaign
4. Under Live Deliverables, check that your YouTube Video or Short appears

Your YouTube Video or Short appears in Live Deliverables within up to two hours after it is eligible for collection. Once it appears, Later refreshes available YouTube insights every two hours.

Troubleshoot Missing Content

Check the following common issues if your video does not appear in Live Deliverables.

My Video Hasn't Appeared in My Campaign

Check that:

• Your YouTube channel is connected
• Your video is a YouTube Video or YouTube Short for the campaign
• You added the exact YouTube Binding Hashtag to the video caption

If you have completed these checks, allow up to two hours for a later collection check.

I Added the Hashtag After Publishing

If your YouTube channel is connected, Later can automatically bind eligible content after you add the YouTube Binding Hashtag to a published video. Allow up to two hours for the next collection check.

I Posted Before Joining the Campaign

Content published before you join the campaign or connect your YouTube channel may not bind automatically. Make sure your YouTube channel is connected and the video caption includes the exact YouTube Binding Hashtag.
