Schedule videos to TikTok through Later on the web and publish them through push notifications from the Later mobile app.
Important:
- TikTok scheduling is in Early Access right now. Only users on our new pricing plans, Starter, Growth, and Advanced, will have Early Access to TikTok scheduling.
- TikTok scheduling is not available on Free plans.
- You can schedule to TikTok through Later on the web and Later's iOS and Android apps.
- You can see, edit, or delete scheduled TikTok posts through Later on the web and Later's iOS and Android apps.
- You can only schedule 1 video to a TikTok post at this time.
- Scheduling photos to TikTok is not supported at this time.
- Videos can be trimmed and cropped when scheduling.
- TikTok posts can only be published through push notifications; they can’t be auto published.
- You need the Later mobile app to publish TikTok posts.
Add Your TikTok Profile
- In Later on the web, click the + button at the top of your Calendar to add a social profile.
- Select an empty TikTok profile slot and click Add Social Profile.
- Enter your TikTok username.
- Read the TikTok publishing terms and check off the box.
- Click Add TikTok Profile.
Note: We can't pull in your TikTok avatar, so you won't see it when you add your TikTok profile.
Note: If you change your username on TikTok, you should update it in Later to match. In Social Sets & Access Groups, go to the Access Group with your TikTok profile. Click Edit next to your TikTok profile and go to Username to edit your username.
Schedule a TikTok Post
- In Later on the web, select a video from your side library and create a post.
- Write a caption.
- Use Edit to trim and crop your video, if needed.
- Select a date and time for a notification to be sent to you.
- Click Save.
Note: Videos scheduled to TikTok must be between 3 seconds and 3 minutes long. If your video is too long, you can trim it when scheduling.
Publish Your TikTok Post

iOS Instructions
- Open the notification on your mobile device.
- Tap Open in TikTok.
- Confirm you’re logged into the TikTok account that you scheduled your post for.
- Select TikTok from your apps. You might have to tap More to find it.
- Tap Share to TikTok.
- Edit your video in TikTok.
- Paste the caption we copied for you.
- Post to TikTok.
Android Instructions
- Open the notification on your mobile device.
- Tap Open in TikTok.
- Confirm you’re logged into the TikTok account that you scheduled your post for.
- Edit your video in TikTok.
- Paste the caption we copied for you.
- Post to TikTok.
Note: If you missed your push notification, you can still publish your TikTok post through the mobile app. Go to your TikTok profile, then Schedule. Find your TikTok post and tap Post Now. If you can’t find your TikTok profile in the mobile app, make sure you’re in the right Access Group.
