Whether you're travelling the world, working with a remote team, or scheduling posts for an audience in a different time zone, we've made it easy for you to change your default and Calendar time zones.
Important:
- Your device's time zone may affect what’s displayed in Later
- This won’t impact auto published posts as long as your Account and Calendar settings are correct
- Your Later account's time zone will always be used for scheduling, except for notification posts scheduled through Later's mobile apps, where your device's time zone will be used instead
- VPNs can interfere with location data and may cause issues with scheduling and publishing
Set Your Default Time Zone
Your default time zone can be the time zone you are based in, or the time zone you schedule for most.
- From Later for desktop, go to Settings
- Scroll down and locate your Time Zone settings under Preferences
- Select Edit
- Choose your desired time zone
- Select Save
Schedule for a Different Time Zone
Scheduling for a different time zone? Temporarily change the time zone of your Calendar to make scheduling easier.
- From Later for desktop, go to your Calendar
- Select the Calendar settings icon in the top right
- Select the time zone you're scheduling for in the dropdown menu
- Select Update Settings
Your calendar will now be shown in the time zone you chose. Drag and drop media onto the calendar to schedule.
Important: After selecting a different time zone, you can navigate to different pages on your Later account; however, when you refresh the page, your time zone will change back to your default time zone. After refreshing, the times for any posts you scheduled using the temporary time zone will now be shown in your default time zone again.
Tip: For best results, match your Calendar settings to your target audience’s time zone.
