On August 28, 2025, Later will be removing support for X (formerly Twitter) from the platform.
This article will guide you through:

- How to reschedule posts and repurpose your X content for other platforms
Key Dates
Tuesday, July 30, 2025
- You will no longer be able to connect new X accounts to Later.
Important: Existing connected X accounts will still be able to schedule, edit, and publish content until the sunset date.
Thursday, August 28, 2025
- Later will sunset support for X
- Any posts scheduled for or after the 28th will not publish
- We’ll stop collecting analytics for any X posts
- X data will no longer be available in Social Listening
- Your X account will still appear in your social sets, but if removed, you will not be able to reconnect it
Repurposing Scheduled Posts
Before the August 28th deadline, we recommend manually copying or repurposing your scheduled or draft posts.
To do this:
- Open your Calendar and select a scheduled or draft X post
- In the Post Builder, click Copy Post (bottom left)
- Choose the social profile you want to copy the post to
Note:
- You can only copy a post to one profile at a time
- The destination profile must be part of the same Access Group
- Some posts may not be supported on other platforms due to media type restrictions or post limits
- The copied post will open in a new Post Builder
- Make any necessary edits (e.g., shorten the caption if the destination platform has a character limit)
When ready, click Schedule Post or choose the dropdown to Save as Draft and return later.
