Using Later’s Canva integration, you can seamlessly export your designs into Later for an even faster scheduling workflow.
Important:
- Later’s Canva integration is available for all current plans, including Free
- One media item can be exported from Canva at a time
- Exported media items will automatically receive a ‘canva’ system Label
- System labels cannot be removed
- Later’s Canva integration is configured through your Canva account (not within Later)
Connect Canva to Later
Before you can export your designs, you’ll need to download and authenticate the Later app in your Canva account via Canva’s app directory. Here’s how:
- From within your Canva account, click Apps from the left-hand navigation menu
- Search for ‘Later’, then click the Use button
- Click Connect Your Later Account > Connect
- Follow the prompts to authenticate your Later account
Tip: Once you’ve added Later to your Canva account, you will be able to find it in the left-hand navigation menu.
Export Designs from Canva
Once you’ve downloaded and authenticated the Later app within Canva, you can export your designs. Here’s how:
- From within your Canva account, click Later from the left-hand navigation menu
Note: You’ll only see Later in the sidebar if you’ve already authenticated the integration (see section above). - Select the Access Group’s Media Library to which you want to export
- Click Export To Later
- Configure your export options
- Click Export
That’s it! You’ll find your design in your Later Media Library with a ‘canva’ system Label applied, ready to be used for scheduling a new post.
