Have you scheduled a Multi-Photo (carousel) post and are ready to publish using notification publishing? At your post's scheduled time, we'll send a notification to your mobile device. Open the notification and follow the steps below to post to Instagram.
Important:
- Multi-Photo (carousel) posts are only available on current paid plans
- Instagram personal profiles must use notification publishing for Instagram Multi-Photo (carousel) posts

Select your device below for steps to publish Multi-Photo (carousel) posts to Instagram using notification publishing.
Publishing on iOS
Note: These steps apply to the latest version of the Later iOS mobile app. If you experience any issues, please ensure your app is up to date.
- Open the notification on your mobile device
- Tap Open in Instagram
- In Instagram, tap the + icon
- Tap the carousel icon
- Select all the Media Items before the blue stop marker shown below, then tap Next
- Tap in the caption field and select Paste to paste in the caption we automatically copied for you
- Tap Share to publish your post
Publishing on Android
- Open the notification on your mobile device
- Tap Open in Instagram
- Make sure you’re logged into the right Instagram account
- In Instagram, tap the + to create a new post
- Tap the multiple photo icon on the right
- Select all the Media Items before the blue stop marker, then tap Next
- Tap in the caption field and select Paste to paste in the caption we automatically copied for you
- Tap
to publish
